Your Role:
In this role, you won't be just managing an accounting team; you'll be fostering growth and nurturing talent.
From leading training sessions to resolving employee concerns, your warm guidance will be a cornerstone of our team's success.
You'll oversee financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while fostering open communication with department managers and the executive team.
Key
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Supervise Accounting staff, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and performance management.
Provide guidance and support, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Financial Oversight:
Develop and maintain internal financial controls.
Coordinate production of monthly financial statements, interpret financial events, and review accounting transactions.
Prepare reconciliations and manage budgetary processes.
Training and Development:
Conduct regular, results-driven training sessions, ensuring consistent staff knowledge.
Delegate tasks, maintain quality control, and monitor staff productivity.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor individual staff performance and maintain accurate records.
Manage attendance, tardiness, and sick days.
Implement HR policies and ensure adherence to company standards.
Professional Development:
Attend and support company training sessions, department meetings, and external training opportunities as needed.
Uphold company appearance standards and promote a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you'll need a combination of a 4-year college or university degree and three years of related experience.
Your proficiency in computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office programs, will be vital.
