Spa Supervisor - Lead Therapist

Position Overview
The initial and complete source of information regarding all available spa treatments and retail goods.
Knowledge of booker software and SMS.
Maintain a sense of order and efficiency for spa operations via proper scheduling of guest and staff appointments, packages and group parties.
Effectivaley communicate with guest conference services to book large groups
Attend company meetings when needed
Attend product knowledge training and conferences to stay up to date in the industry.
Check in / out spa guests. Deal with guest issues.
Train all new employees and exisiting on operating duties to ensure the spa works as a team to complete daily tasks.
Complete daily therapist appointment schedule. Update schedules as needed, coordinate with therapists.
Maintain cleanliness of reception and guest relaxation area / general housekeeping duties including any matentinence issues that need to be adddressed.
Follow all spa opening/closing procedures as well as weekly deep cleans.
Follow all accounting procedures. Handle and balance all payment transactions.
Assist with scheduled retail inventory and inputting new products.
Handle all the billing and point-of-sale functions for spa services and retail sales
Develop specials/events and discounts as needed.
Work with marketing team to ensure all marketing material is up to date throughout all opperations
Work closely with the Spa Director to implement and follow protocols
Ensure a pleasant experience for each guest.
Work as a team with front desk concierges, back of spa therapists and other departments
Be upbeat and have fun!
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
two year work experience in a related field (spa, hospitality, medical, salon, retail). -required
Be able to maintain a regular schedule
Typing, computer and basic math skills. -required
Booking software proficient
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
Must be able to communicate effectively in English. -required
Bilingual in Spanish or other languages. -preferred
Ability to effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form, in-person and over the phone, to guests and employees throughout the organization. -required
Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. -required
Basic conflict resolution skills. -preferred
Must be able to lift/push up to 25lbs. -required
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours. -required
Must be able to crouch, stoop, kneel and crawl. -required
Must be able to communicate by phone and email. required
Must have good organizational skills. required
Must be willing to make every guest visit an experience of a lifetime
Must attend product knowledge training, and departmental meetings
Partakes in monthly events when required
First Aid and CPR training - preferred
Can-Do attitude a must.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
