HVAC Service Technician - Mountain Region (Breckenridge, CO)

Job Summary:

The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and DDC Control systems utilizing knowledge of boilers, refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding / brazing and mechanical layouts.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned maintenance agreements, service calls, and projects while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
  • Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
  • Performs preventive maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
  • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
  • Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service
  • Interacts with Customers and documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
  • Keeps current all manufacturers products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
  • Provides technical support to customers
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required

Requirements:

  • 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Boiler experience, especially on Power Flame type systems
  • Associate s degree, HVAC trade school certification or 5 year apprenticeship program is preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification preferred
  • Low Voltage Electrical Certification preferred
  • 2 years of DDC Experience preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
