The Lift Maintenance Senior Manager will oversee our Lift Mechanical staff, ropeway systems, and conveyors. He/She will also play and important role in developing and maintaining a safe, inclusive work environment. ¬ Training, budgeting, ordering, inventory, and coordinating with the various departments are also important aspects of this position. ¬ Our Lift Maintenance department is a strong team of supervisors, mechanics of different levels, and support staff.¬ ¬ ¬

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):



  • Manage¬ the safe and reliable maintenance operations and providing the quality and reliable service desired by the guest, Breckenridge Ski Resort, and Vail Resorts

  • Oversees preventive maintenance activities of the technical staff

  • Develops maintenance routines and procedures

  • Assist The Lift Maintenance Director in developing and maintaining the budget

  • Oversees and assists in troubleshooting lift systems

  • Oversees all lift maintenance parts ordering and receiving

  • Manages various projects assigned by the Lift Maintenance Director

  • Assure¬ all lifts are in compliance with CPTSB and Vail Resorts rules and regulations.

  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of all lift maintenance personnel

  • Assure that the Director is immediately informed and consulted on all abnormal or unusual conditions, incidents, or system malfunctions.

  • Assure that all records required by Breckenridge and the authorities having jurisdiction are maintained and kept up-to-date including all mechanical and operational procedures, daily maintenance, operational logs, lift failures and incidents

  • Responsible for conduct, training, Lift Maintenance¬ Dept. Policies, Vail Resorts policies, and ensuring paperwork & procedures are completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:



  • Extensive Mechanical/Electrical¬ Maintenance skills & knowledge

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic knowledge of desktop computer systems and applications

  • Valid Colorado Driver's license or ability to obtain one upon employment

  • Ability to¬ become tower-climbing certified through company

  • Ability to become¬ snowmobile and vehicle qualified through company

  • General knowledge of the ski industry and lift operations

  • Minimum Two years of technical leadership in a team environment

  • Intermediate level skier helpful

  • College degree

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
