Breckenridge Resort Security is responsible for the security and fire life safety within Vail Resorts Hospitality locations and Mountain base area locations in Breckenridge, Colorado.
The Senior Manager of Breckenridge Resort Security leads the team that executes on the following essential
Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the team that conducts all investigations concerning all vehicle accidents involving company vehicles, guest injuries, thefts, suspicious activity, fraudulent ski pass use, employee misconduct, fires, medical emergencies, drug use in/on Vail Resorts property, parking violations, access control, trespassing, guest service, employee assists and prepare an incident report for each occurrence, when applicable.
  • Drive safety initiatives across the hospitality operations focused on prevention.
    Conduct applicable employee incident reviews, applying learnings to lead to prevention of future incidents.
  • Establish and manage to departmental budget and manage spending to maximize revenues and profitability.
  • Ensure long-term integrity and condition of assets through strategic investment in capital equipment.
  • Interface with hospitality and mountain leaders to ensure alignment of areas of focus and that mutual objectives are being met.
  • Hire, manage and support department employees.
    Establish goals and development plans and evaluate performance for year-round direct reports.
    Implement employee programs to promote safety, proactive development & succession, and engagement.
  • Create and implement operational policies and procedures.
    Maintain effective communications with all team members.
  • Focus on keen observations and prevention of safety and security issues through regular team patrols and coordination of efforts with applicable outside agencies.
  • Respond to medical calls on Vail Resorts property to assist ski patrol or paramedics as needed.
  • Perform pedestrian and vehicle traffic control as needed throughout the resort.

Job Requirements

  • College degree strongly preferred
  • 5 years experience managing successful teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, ability to adapt to additional internal systems

The budgeted range starts at $56,000 - $67,400
annual bonus.
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
